South Africa
A salon booking app that works the South African way
Running a salon, barbershop or lash studio in South Africa means planning around things most booking software never thinks about: power schedules that change at short notice, clients who live on WhatsApp, and prices that should read R350, not 19 dollars.
Reservy gives you your own booking page, a calendar for you and your team, and client profiles that fill themselves in, with every price shown in rand. Try 3 days free, no card · then 10 USD/month.

Prices in rand, not converted dollars
Your account uses South African rand, so your booking page, your calendar and your reports all show prices the way your clients expect to see them. Services that vary in price, such as braids that depend on length, can be listed with a «from» price so nobody is surprised at the chair.
Long services are not a problem. A four-hour braiding session blocks exactly four hours in the calendar, in 15-minute steps, and nobody can book on top of it.
Planning around load-shedding
When the power schedule changes, the worst outcome is a client arriving for a blow-dry in a dark salon. Reservy lets you close specific hours, not only whole days. If you know the area is off from 14:00 to 16:30 on Thursday, block those hours and the booking page simply stops offering them.
Closures can apply to the whole business or to one person. If one stylist works at a second location with its own schedule, close only her column. Appointments already in the calendar stay where they are, so you can see who is affected and move them.
- Block hours or full days, for everyone or for one team member.
- Drag an appointment to a new time when the schedule changes.
- Call, SMS or WhatsApp the client with one tap from the appointment.
A booking link made for WhatsApp and Instagram
Most South African clients find you on Instagram and message you on WhatsApp. Instead of answering «do you have space Saturday?» twenty times a day, send your link: reservy.co/your-salon. The client picks the service, the stylist if you allow it, the day and an open time. No app to install, no account to create, just a name and phone number.
Put the link in your Instagram bio, your WhatsApp Business profile and your Google Business Profile, and print the QR code for the mirror or the front desk.
Fewer no-shows without chasing people
Clients who leave an email get a confirmation when they book and an automatic reminder before the appointment. You choose when: 48, 24, 3, 2 or 1 hour before, and you can pick more than one. The email includes a link to cancel or reschedule up to the deadline you set, so a gap opens early enough to fill.
For clients who only leave a phone number, the WhatsApp button in each appointment opens a chat with the right number so you can send a quick reminder yourself. Reservy does not send automatic SMS or WhatsApp messages, and we would rather say so up front.
Your team, each with their own column
Every stylist, barber or lash tech gets a column in the calendar, their own working hours and their own services. They can log in with their own access and see only what you allow. Reports show revenue, occupancy, new clients and no-shows per service and per person, so month-end is a glance instead of a spreadsheet.
What it costs, honestly
After the 3-day trial, Reservy Pro is 10 USD a month, charged by card in dollars; your bank converts it to rand. There is no commission per booking and no marketplace taking a cut. If you do not activate it, your page stops accepting new bookings, but your appointments and client data stay in your account.

Frequently asked questions
Can clients pay a deposit through Reservy?
No. Reservy does not take online payments or deposits. Many salons ask for an EFT or cash deposit separately and note it on the appointment.
Can I show prices in rand?
Yes. Your account currency is set to South African rand, and every price on your booking page and in your reports is shown in rand.
What happens when load-shedding changes my hours?
Add a closure for the hours you will be off. New bookings stop for that window; existing appointments stay so you can move them and message the clients.
Do my clients need to download anything?
No. They open your link on any phone or computer, pick a time and leave their name and number.
